Last year, PERF assembled experts to discuss how police can best reduce the risk of restraint-related deaths. The meeting included experts in various restraint-related areas, including cardiology, emergency medicine, medical toxicology, pathology, psychology, paramedics, law, policy, and tactical policing. We shared the recommendations that emerged from the meeting in our publication "15 Principles for Reducing the Risk of Restraint-Related Death." 

This 90-minute webinar will frame the issue of restraint-related deaths, share real-world applications, and outline the 15 principles to improve safety for everyone.
