At this lively, four-hour, unscripted open forum, we will tackle the most pressing issues facing the policing profession today. Participation, debate and spontaneous discussion are what make PERF's Town Hall Meetings unique and informative. Everyone is welcome to join in the conversation and to raise any issue or question.

Individuals registered for the IACP conference will be able to access the Skyline Ballroom, W375a in the McCormick Place Convention Center with their IACP credential. Finding Meaning and Purpose after Full-Time Policing: A Conversation about PERF's "Chapter 2" Book

PERF's latest report, Chapter 2, explores how former police chiefs and sheriffs are finding meaning and purpose in the next stage of their careers. At this intimate and informal event, some of the law enforcement executives who have left full-time policing for opportunities in the public, private, and academic sectors-or even a life of leisure-will discuss how to prepare for the transition, and audience members will chime in as well.

This event is free, and a continental breakfast will be served beginning at 8 AM. If you're planning to attend, we ask that you register in advance on the PERF website by clicking here.

The Motorola Innovation Center is located in the West Loop area of downtown Chicago, about a 15-minute ride from McCormick Place West.
