Job Description 

The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Clery Compliance Officer in Police Services. The position will ensure the University of Nevada, Reno, Truckee Meadows Community College, Western Nevada College and Great Basin College are in compliance with the Clery Act and coordinates required activities at each institution in the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) North. Other duties include, but are not limited to: ensuring the institutions maintain good standing and prevent risk of warnings, citations/fines and loss of federal funding/aid programs; collecting, analyzing and reporting of crime statistics for the institutions; drafting, assembling, and publishing annual Clery Reports; training at all institutions to include provisions of the Campus Security Authority (CSA) training for all responsible CSA’s, to include vendors and contractors on institution properties; performing pro-active audits of the institutions’ policies, crime logs, incidents and crime reports are completed on a routine basis to ensure compliance; supervising and coordinating front office activities; and other duties as assigned. 

Required Qualifications 

Bachelors and two (2) years OR a Masters and one (1) years of experience.

Related Experience: Data collecting, reporting, or interpreting and analyzing legislation and regulations.

A valid driver’s license is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment.

Schedule and Travel

Regular travel to other counties in northern Nevada with University of Nevada, Cooperative Extension properties.
