Elizabeth Berger


Elizabeth Berger is a Research Associate at PERF. She specializes in quantitative research methods, program research and evaluation, and statistical analyses. Prior to joining PERF, Ms. Berger conducted research for a small firm where she focused on various projects, including OJJDP’s evaluation on the Girls Circle Program and the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children Community Intervention Project. She was also a certified reviewer and assisted in secondary research for government clearinghouses including NIJ’s CrimeSolutions.gov, OJJDP’s Model Programs Guide, and the Dept. of Education’s What Works Clearinghouse.  Ms. Berger has also worked as a Research Associate for Sam Houston State University, where she assisted Texas state agencies in conducting research projects and performing data analysis related to corrections programs and policies. Ms. Berger was a lead analyst and author on the ten year Jail Population Forecast Analysis (2014-2024) for Harris County, Texas. She holds a M.S. and B.S. in Criminology & Criminal Justice from Niagara University in Lewiston, NY.
