The Twin Rivers Unified School District (TRUSD) seeks a transparent leader with the utmost integrity and a firm commitment to staff accountability and development to serve as the next Chief of Police Services. This unique position requires an experienced law enforcement professional energized by the opportunity to move the Police Department to the next level. 

Under direction of the TRUSD Superintendent, the Chief of Police Services plans, organizes, coordinates and directs law enforcement and security activities for the District; supervises, controls, trains and evaluates assigned police, security and safety personnel; provides District wide law enforcement, security and protective services for staff, students and property in schools, school buses, District offices and other departments/facilities. 

A Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, public administration or a related field, and eight years of progressively responsible supervisory and administrative experience including a minimum of two years in a law enforcement management position (Sergeant or higher rank) are expected. Assignments must have included community relations and investigative duties involving juveniles and crimes against persons and property. Proven experience working with community-oriented policing in a culturally diverse community is desired.
