Maggie Brunner

 

Maggie Brunner joined the Police Executive Research Forum as a Research Associate in March of 2015.  Prior to PERF, Ms. Brunner practiced law at a small firm, primarily in the area of criminal defense.  She also served as a Research and Writing Consultant for the Dept. of Homeland Security’s Office for Civil Rights & Civil Liberties (CRCL) for two years. At CRCL, Ms. Brunner worked on policy for a variety of DHS initiatives, including the State and Major Urban Area Fusion Center and former Secure Communities programs. Ms. Brunner holds a J.D. from William & Mary Law School and a B.A. in History from Tufts University.
