Lindsay Miller joined the Police Executive Research Forum as a Research Associate in July 2013. Prior to joining PERF, Ms. Miller served as a Program Analyst for the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services (DYRS), the government agency that oversees court-involved youth in the District of Columbia. Her projects at DYRS included managing production of the agency’s first-ever Annual Report, developing an outcome-based tool to measure performance at DYRS’ community-based residential facilities, and producing comprehensive research reports regarding substance abuse and gang intervention programs. Ms. Miller also spent three years practicing law at a large corporate firm in the District, where her work focused on conducting complex enforcement investigations into securities and accounting fraud. She has an M.S. in Criminology from the University of Pennsylvania, a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, and a B.A. in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
