James McGinty

 

James McGinty joined PERF in June 2011. As Assistant Director of Communications, James assists with writing and editing publications and responding to press inquiries. He also contributes to a variety of PERF's research and policy projects, including work on community policing in Chicago, interagency police cooperation in the Middle East, and improving the local police response to cybercrime. In 2014, he served as the organization's representative to the Leadership, Culture and Integrity committee of the DOJ's Comprehensive Law Enforcement Review Project. James holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Yale University and graduated from Session 57 of PERF's Senior Management Institute for Police in June 2014.
